Due to the stacked nature of this purse, the brass and beading does jingle as it moves. Each bag is meticulously beaded by hand, with hours of craftsmanship going into every piece. The original surface is adorned with a considered selection of contemporary and vintage glass beads, individually hand-sewn to create texture, movement and dimension. A handcrafted tassel completes the piece, bringing together materials from different eras in a celebration of the old, the new and the unexpected. Each Mirth purse is designed individually in response to the original piece, allowing its shape, material and history to inform the finished design. No two are alike.
